Bruford Youth Theatre

Bruford Youth Theatre offers instruction, performance and skills acquisition through drama and theatre related activities in a fun, safe space. Each age group meet weekly during term time on Saturday mornings and have holiday/summer courses each year. Term Start: September, January and April Seniors (13-17 year olds) Work and perform with like-minded people of your own age who share a passion for theatre and performance. Everyone is welcome and you do not need any previous experience to take part. Students develop their performance skills through the exploration of a variety of performance techniques. These can include improvisation, devising, naturalism, character work, voice, movement and working with text. Inters (9-12 year olds) A fun and challenging drama class, that is open to everyone whether you are an aspiring performer or just want to have fun. The Inters are encouraged to bring their own ideas and creativity to the work and the curriculum is dependent on the students present in the class. A range of drama techniques and theatrical forms are explored including improvisation, devising, script work, voice and movement. Juniors: (4-6.5 & 6.5-8 year olds) An introduction to drama in a fun and friendly atmosphere, this class is an opportunity for children to explore the creative arts through play.
